Merritt Research Services’ Audit Timing Research Report featured in The Bond Buyer

In partnership with UIC CUPPA, Merritt Research Services tracks the timelines of municipal bond audits. Findings for the 2022 fiscal year were recently featured in The Bond Buyer.

To recognize and promote timely transparency, Merritt Research Services has been tracking and reporting on the completion and signing times of municipal bond-related audits since 2007. In 2022, Merritt partnered with the Government Finance Research Center at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC CUPPA) along with Director Dr. Deborah A. Carroll, to enhance this initiative. The Bond Buyer published an article highlighting this year’s research findings.
